1. Short service life of LED: The theoretical service life of LED produced by regular manufacturers is generally around 80000 hours. Solution: Purchase qualified LED single chips produced by legitimate manufacturers (with quality parameter specifications provided by the manufacturer), and make your own module. Do not covet cheap purchases of single LED chips or pre made modules in the electronic market. It should be clear how many resistors are installed on the module, and it is best not to use a module with only one resistor installed. The resistor plays a current limiting role in the module, making it easy to generate heat. If used continuously for a long time, once the resistor burns out, the module will not light up. LED lights generally do not break. Don't throw away the module, just replace it with a resistor with the same resistance value to use it normally. This can save costs for the production unit. To reduce trouble and save costs, it is best to choose a module with two resistors installed. In addition, it is necessary to have an understanding of the production facilities of the supplier who produces the module, and to see if they have used anti-static facilities when making the module. If there are no additional anti-static facilities, even if the resistor is not burned out during use, LED lights are easily damaged by breakdown.

2. The color decay is very fast: the newly installed luminous characters emit pure and bright colors, but the colors noticeably fade after less than a year of use. Solution: The safe use current of LED lights is generally 20 milliamperes. Beyond this value, although the brightness will increase slightly, the color attenuation will be significantly accelerated. So, when purchasing an assembled LED module, it is important to test its output current value. Brightness below 20 milliamperes is insufficient, while exceeding 22 milliamperes affects LED lifespan and accelerates color decay. 


3. Uneven color and obvious color difference: mainly manifested in the larger volume of luminous characters made of pure white LED. During assembly, the performance of a single module is not obvious. After the entire font is assembled, color difference becomes obvious. Solution: White LED lights need to undergo spectral separation before leaving the factory. Spectral separators are expensive, and small factories generally do not have such equipment. Therefore, the white light produced is usually sent to large factories for spectral separation. Since it is not a product of our own factory, the spectral separation is not so careful. So when purchasing white LED, do not blindly pursue cheap prices. Be sure to purchase LED single particle lamps or modules from the same manufacturer, batch, and color code to produce the same batch of luminous characters. 


4. Partial strokes of the font, sudden or intermittent dimming of the entire font: After using the illuminated text for a period of time, the local or entire font light source begins to flicker, intermittent dimming of the entire font, until it is completely dimming. Most of the light-emitting modules currently sold on the market are connected using patch cords. In this way, advertising producers can install luminous modules conveniently and quickly. However, there have also been some new problems. Due to the erosion of moisture in the air during long-term use, the connectors are prone to oxidation, resulting in poor contact and causing partial or complete circuit power outages, leading to flashing or non illuminating font light sources. Solution: A. When making the module, do not use connectors. Connect it directly with copper tinned wires and solder it firmly with activated carbon. b. Using artificial agate to make fully enclosed hollow three-dimensional luminous characters, isolating the contact between the light source and the air. 


5.The font output power is relatively high, and the energy-saving effect is not significant. Solution: Try to use LED light emitting modules with five lights in a group, so that the number of lights remains unchanged and the power is reduced by two fifths.
